Today was the last day of course. Teacher reviewed about Problem Markers and Solution Markers in unit 10:"Problem and Solution". And she gave corrective feedback the exercise to us. After that, she checked our weblog and suggested corrective of each person.
Not long later, she repatriatd our works of Writing for Communication 1 course. Last, my classmates presented how to make food. I enjoyed this learning.

Unit 10 Problem and Solution
Teacher responded exercise from last unit. Then We learned unit 10:“Problem and Solution” is a pattern of organization where information in a passage is expressed as a dilemma or concerning issue and something that was, can be, or should be done to remedy this issue.
I learned The Language of Problem-solution is a list of problem-solution markers. Teacher recounted about learning in the past that difficulties. After that she assigned to us do the exercise by group. I did not understand this unit.

Unit 9 Exemplification
Teacher responded exercise from last unit. Then We learned unit 9:“Exemplification” about Exemplification writing uses specific, vivid example for the purpose of adding more information to explain, persuade, define, or illustrate a general idea. I learned about used abbreviations and transitions in exemplification text and complete the diagram. Then highlight the Exemplification Markers. When I observe Exemplification Markers of text it made me understand text. Today I enjoyed this learning.

Unit 7 Definition & Unit 8 Classification
Today we learned about Definition and Classification. There strategies will help you categorize and understand texts that contain technical terms, definition, and classification. Discourse markers of definition and classification will help you identify both technical terms their meanings and general concepts. We made exercise I thing not difficult because can observe that discourse marker. Before lunch my group presented how to make jelly.

Today we came compensated to learning time of Dr.Usa Noytim. We learned unit 6:“Cause and Effect” is used to show how the facts or concepts result due to other facts, events or concepts.

Mid-term test
Today we had the midterm test about recount, narrative, descriptive and procedure. The exam is rather easy, but we must understand it.
Then I learned about differences between the languages of men and women, men and women have problems in conversing with each other because they are raised to see the world in different ways. We checked exercise together with edit. Teacher told students to circle discourse markers of similarities and differences. I enjoyed this learning.

Unit 5 Comparison and Contrast
Today we tested about recount, narrative,and descriptive. I thought it is not difficult exam, but it was a lot.

Unit 5 Comparison and Contract
I learned “Comparison and Contract”. Teacher brought an orange, a green apple, and an apple we told similarities and differences of fruits. A comparison-contrast pattern presents similarities(comparisons) between two or more thing, or both similarities and difference.
She explained about use the following markers to point out comparison and contrast. She told students to read each text and complete the diagram. She assigned work with read the text and make exercise. After that we presented role play about the secret. I enjoyed study may be serious and worry.

Unit 4 Procedure
Today I learned unit 4:"Procedure". The purpose is to tell the reader how to do or make something. Procedure include purpose, types of procedural texts, text organization, and language features. She opened VDO about how to make a banana shake and recipe for banana cake.
She told students to watched VDO about omelet recipe and work group.
We match each sentence with the correct picture then put all sentences in the correct order. We read the recipe and answer the question that follow about chicken soup.
She assigned homework exercise 3 and make role play. I liked this unit very much.

Unit 3 Descriptive
I learned unit 3:“Descriptive”. Descriptive is a text which says what a person, a thing or a place is like. She told students to made group work about Komodo Dragon. We wrote description size, senses, appearance of Komodo Dragon. My friend presented at the front of class. She told students to answer these questions based on text and match each word the correct meaning. Text 2 was Budapest.
After that, she searched the internet for information about Budapest picture. It is very beautiful. She assigned work by read text 2-3 and found descriptive adjective. I enjoyed this learning.

Unit 2 Narratives
Today I learned unit 2:"Narratives" and learn purpose of the narrative is the entertain to gain and hold the reader’s interest in a story but narrative may also seek to teach or inform, to embody the writer’s reflections on experience, and perhaps most important t to nourish and extend the reader’s imagination. She explained types, text organization and language features of the narrative. She told students to read the first part of the story. After that, we summarized of the first part by group work. My friend presented work at front of the class. She told students to read second part of the story and put these sentence in the right order to produce a summary of the second part of the story. Finally, I felt very fun because activity interesting and I liked this teaching.

Unit 1 Recount
I learned “Recount” continued from last week. Teacher told student to read the text and answer the question that following in the exercise 3 about “An Excursion to the Botanic Gardens”.After we made worksheet by choose the correct answer for the following question. After that we made worksheet in the exercise 4 when we made finish. She assigned work by segmenting. We wrote about trip to the Chiang Mai. After my friend presented work at front of the class. Teacher told students to wrote feeling when us were child. Next she told students to looked sheet about Narratives. Soon after she told us to read the text on the PowerPoint and imagine. Finally I felt very fun because joined activity which it was not boring. I liked this teaching.

Unit 1 Recount
Today I learned unit 1:“Recount”. Teacher has opened YouTube for students to watch Hockey sport. Next, she explained about genres text include recount. she explained about genres of text include recount. Recount comprising purpose, types, text organisation and language feature. In a recount we reconstruct past experience. A recount is the unfolding of a sequence of events over time. We are using language to keep the past alive and help us to interpret experience. She told students to looked at the power point along with explained.
She told students to do exercise after explained .She told students to watched the YouTube about Funeral in Toraja which it was ceremony and slaughtered the pig and buffaloes. It very poor. Finally, she assigned homework include exercise 3 and 4. The problem was we did not know meaning of word because we must diligent. I enjoyed with learner.

A Discourse Approach in Reading
The first day of course A Discourse Approach in Reading with Dr.Usa Noytim. Dr.Usa said about Teaching Evaluation of course Writing fir Communication. She told the student evaluate of teaching does not match reality, but I gave full score to her.
Then she talked about course outline of A Discourse Approach in Reading. In this course have 10 lesson, take classes 15 weeks. And she talked rules of dress and writing weblog. She assigned to us do the exercise about genres of text. I think this course is difficult. But from study of today, I enjoyed and not worried about it. If it is difficult, I will try to fight it.
